Doors open 6pm. Students in classrooms by 6:15. Concert 6:30.
The first day of testing is done. We have more to go which means our students need good night sleeps and lots of encouragement. We had a 100% attendance today so we celebrated with a confetti cannon!
It's time to TEST!!! We begin testing tomorrow and we want our students to be the best they can be. Please get a good night sleep and a healthy breakfast. Encourage your student to try their best and let them know we are proud of them.

Summer School reminders! Forms were sent home for the Summer Journey Summer School program in Chillicothe and we have just learned that Trenton R-9 is offering the same program! Both schools will be in session for summer school May 21-June 25. We do not offer transportation to either of these programs.

It's almost testing time for our Chula Bobcats. Students in K-2 will be taking the Stanford 10 Achievement Test and 3-8 will be taking the MAP test. As you know, hungry students are not good test takers and they love to have snacks. If you'd like to help with our snack supply, here are a few ideas: cheese crackers, fruit snacks, crackers with peanut butter, crackers with cheese, granola bars, animal crackers, Life Savers mints, mint gum, and pretzels. Please don't send anything messy or things like cupcakes and cookies. Testing begins April 22. If you could send your snacks by April 16, we would appreciate it. Thanks for your help - we appreciate your support!

Chillicothe R-II School has invited our students K-8 to attend their summer school again this year. Summer Journey will offer courses for hands-on exploration and discovery. NO homework or tests for grades! Students will also received daily awards for attendance & behavior along with some GRAND PRIZES to be awarded on the Final Day. Forms went home last week, if you need another let Miss Suzy know, 660-639-3135. When you register by April 25th, you will be put in a drawing for one of (2) $50 Amazon Gift Cards. We do NOT provide transportation for summer school. All students will receive a free lunch and breakfast daily. Summer Journey will be held May 21-June 25, 8:00am-3:00pm. Go have some fun!

Spring Pictures will be held on March 28th beginning at 8:30am. Order forms and composites will be sent home after pictures have been taken. Class group pictures will also be taken.
